Market data vendors will be assessed a monthly license fee of $625 (a $7,500 annualized rate) for vendors who connect directly
to the CBOE Financial Network (CFN), which manages OneChicago's ticker plant for market data distribution. Vendors who take
their feeds from a reseller (i.e. who are not directly connected to the CFN) are assessed a monthly license fee of $500 (a
$6,000 annualized rate).
Vendors' annualized license fees are payable each January 1 for the upcoming year, with a pro-rated fee charged to vendors
who begin carrying the feed part-way through the year. As an introductory promotion, OneChicago has waived vendor license
fees for the remainder of 2002.
Telecommunications charges also apply to those vendors connecting directly to the CFN. For locations in the continental U.S., the cost of each managed 512K line is $1,000 per month and the cost of each managed T1 line is $1,500 per month. OneChicago
has waived installation charges until further notice.
Data vendors connecting directly to the CFN for OneChicago market data must order at least one primary line and one backup
line. Primary and backup lines may be of the same bandwidth or different bandwidths.
Licensing, billing and collections for OneChicago market data are handled by CME Information Products Management. Market data
vendors should contact CME Information Products for more information regarding OneChicago's market data fees:
